As a general rule, Jeremy and I are crochety old people at heart, but Nashville brought out our inner 22 year olds again. We couldn’t help it: Nashville is the kind of city that makes you want to dance even if you don’t know the steps, sing even if you don’t know the words, and drink even though it’s 2pm and you’re still riding a hot chicken high. Nashville is a city brimming with energy: from music spilling out of every doorway on Broadway, to down-home Southern food and mind-blowing drinks, to the history and art on display all over town, Music City lives up to its name and so much more. We’ve created a GIANT Nashville weekend itinerary full of foodie finds, culture, art, and (duh) music!
When I told my husband I wanted to take a romantic weekend getaway to Memphis, Tennessee, he was like, “why?” I suppose Memphis isn’t exactly the first destination on the list of romantic weekend getaways in the USA. But what could be more romantic than stuffing our faces with BBQ and hanging out with ducks in a hotel? (Yes, y’all. Ducks.) As it turns out, Memphis is TOTALLY RAD. I can’t believe I lived a few hours away from it my whole life and never visited! We spent 48 hours in Memphis having the time of our lives and we can’t WAIT to go back. We’ve created a weekend itinerary for Memphis that will have you dancing through Memphis all weekend long!
